In this policy, ‘I’, ‘me’, ‘we’, ‘us’, refers to Claire Grint at Frog & Pencil.
This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, and share information when you contact me, hire me for bespoke commissions or purchase an item from me.
Claire Grint may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page occasionally to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 24/05/2018.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control. Third parties include the potential use of a delivery courier, SendGrid and Gmail. Please visit the third party sites to view their privacy policies.
Information I Collect
To fulfil your query/order/commission, you must provide me with certain information, such as your name, email address, postal address, and the details of the product/bespoke commission that you’re ordering or making enquiries about or when engaging with me on social media. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information for a bespoke commission.
This information may come directly from you to my Gmail address or via the contact information form found on frogandpencil.com. The contact information form uses the third party SendGrid communication platform to transfer your enquiries to my Gmail address. SendGrid are Privacy Shield Certified.
Frog & Pencil does not use a mailing list. For the purpose of fulfilling enquiries/orders/bespoke commissions, email contact information is stored within my Gmail contacts. Any communication we have had will also be stored within my Gmail account.
frogandpencil.com uses Google Analytics which tracks web activity from each visit to the site. The data captured may include geographical location, length of visit, referral source, page views, browser & operating system, devices used & page navigation. This data may be processed for the purposes of analysing the use of the website. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interests, namely monitoring and improving my website and services. This information may be held up to 50 months.
Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It
The information that I will ask of you will only be used to fulfil, complete and deliver any orders or bespoke commissions.
I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:

Information about my customers is important to me & my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
- Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my business, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

I generally keep your data for the following time period: 7 years.
